Recently we at Rockingham Reticulation did a mainline repair in Shoalwater, near Rockingham
Our customer wanted a general service but mostly that the rear station wasn’t coming on. We found broken wires where a whipper snipper had cut them against the back of the house. Once repaired, we tested it and water came out of the ground everywhere. Someone had tried to fix the gate by driving star pickets into the ground and tying them to the gate post. Fair enough, yet alas, they had been speared right through the pipe to the rear station valve ! TWICE !
The valve which you can see under the pavers? Wasn’t working too well either so we replaced that and fixed the pipe. All good!
