Bore Repair Rockingham and Baldivis

Here at Rockingham Reticulation we not only do sprinkler systems but also do a lot of work on the bores themselves. If the reticulation doesn’t come on we diagnose one step at a time to isolate the issue whether its the retic controller or solenoids, or something to do with the water supply. You can sometimes tell yourself as the pump may be making a buzzing noise or grinding, which means the pump has had it, or if you usually hear a clunking sound when you activate the manual feature on the control box and now it’s not, it can be the relay.

If it’s a bore water supplied landscape we then identify whether our electrician is required to replace the relay switch or cable to the pump, or ourselves to continue in replacing the pump right away. I Matt ,or Jake will come out to have a look at the issues and do a free quote by request and then get the pump replaced within a few days!

But before we assume it is even something to do with the pump itself, there are also other reasons possibly causing a malfunctioning bore water supply.

  • Pump safety switch tripped
  • Check valve worn out or trapped open
  • water table level dropped
  • Sucking air
  • Pump needs priming
  • Impeller worn out or broken

And here’s the previous pump which was quite vintage and not too healthy. The check valve was clogged with debris too. The job took a total under two hours. We had to do a bit of gardening and rubbish removal to do it!

We only use good quality pumps not chinese rip-offs. Do not buy cheap pumps they will cost more long term!
